Spin It For Summer Fundraising Campaign 9th - 30th June 2026 and 20th July - 7th August
This year, our Summer fundraising campaign looks slightly different than normal. We are asking for your help at 2 different times, for 2 different reasons, to provide as much help as we can, so we can support as many children and young people as possible.
Unfortunately, as we all know, life can be unpredictable. An unexpected bill appears, jobs are lost, benefits are late, or rents or mortgage rates go up. Sometimes, life can feel like the spin of a wheel, where having something to eat is determined by whether you have enough money in your pocket that day. It is so easy for life to get us in a spin, when a curve ball is thrown our way. Summer holidays are particularly difficult for families with school age children, when breakfast clubs and school lunches aren’t available, and they need additional support from our Crisis Food Service to help to stretch their resources.
Throughout the campaign we will be encouraging people to support us even when the sun is out, in order to try and increase the number of food donations that we receive.
