Virtual Kiltwalk 2021

Published on May 03, 2021

As well as a lot of hard work, some of our volunteers agreed to take part in a more light hearted activity in late April participating in the Virtual Kiltwalk this year.
The weekend of the 23-25th April saw our intrepid volunteer and staff team cover a wide variety of different activities as part of the Virtual Kiltwalk to raise funds for Start Up Stirling. Being virtual, it meant that the team could choose their own activities to participate in. As well as walking, people were cycling, running half marathons, mountain biking and our youngest volunteer Izzy went to feed the ducks!

The photo montage illustrates the fun and hard work that was done by the staff and volunteers alike. We are very grateful to the volunteers who did take part not only for their participation but their hard work to get sponsors which let’s face it is not the easiest thing to do!

We were overwhelmed by the final total of funds raised. Thanks to the 50% top up that was provided by The Hunter Foundation, this meant that the team raised the brilliant total of £10,327.59, which was an amazing effort. A big thank you to everyone that took part and contributed to the Kiltwalk. Please consider joining in future Kiltwalks to help us raise even more funds.
