25th Anniversary and Civic Reception

Published on August 22, 2019

We were delighted to be invited to a Civic Reception at the Council Chambers in August to celebrate 25 years of Start Up Stirling supporting local people in hardship.

The Civic Fund exists to support local charities and organisations to mark key events. All costs were paid for by the Civic Fund and they put on a lovely buffet.

It was a great opportunity for the Charity to say thank you to past and present volunteers for all the hard work and time they put in to delivering the different services we provide. We also took the opportunity to invite our generous donors, Churches, supermarkets and other suppliers who support us.

It was a great night and one of our volunteers, Stephen, baked the SUS cake with logo on the top. Our longest standing volunteer Christine Harper cut the cake with the Provost.

And we were also delighted to learn than we had be chosen as the Provost’s charity of the year!!
